Summer Weather
I posted a while back about the weather we get in the south-eastern corner of Australia (Melbourne). So yesterday it was 38 C. degrees (101F) here but a few days earlier, in Tasmania, which is around 500kms (300 miles) south of us, this was the situation.

Below: I think these are bottlebrushes — it’s a bit hard to tell from the photo. Bottle brushes are gorgeous summer flowering red flowers that look exactly like . . . you guessed it .. bottle brushes.
And below is what I *think* might be heath, a low growing native flower. Or it might be a grevillea.
So, for once, it looks like Tassie at least might get a “white Christmas.” <g>
