Off to Queensland (I hope)
In mid-August I’m heading up to the Gold Coast to attend the Romance Writers of Australia conference — assuming it goes ahead in person, that is. (Tricky times in travel these days, with border closures happening with little notice.) As well as presenting a workshop at the conference, and having a small get-together with 10 people in an “ask-me-anything” session, I’ll also be doing a signing with a lot of other authors for ARRA (the Australian Romance Readers Association.) Tickets for the signing here.
If you were part of that small group, what might you ask me?
I would ask you how long, and how many stories you completed before your first published novel :) Some writers have many, some are published on their first completed MS so I’d be curious to know.
I hope you can go. It’s just not the same virtually.
Thanks, Theo. I’ll answer your question in a future blog.
I hope I can go, too. The poor conference organizers must be having a meltdown, waiting to see what various state governments decide.
Hi Anne – I’d ask you to compare your indie vs trad publishing experiences
cheers Vicki
Thanks, Vicki — I’ll blog about that too.
