My New Cover — A Jigsaw

My publisher and I have finalised the new cover for the book I’ve just finished, The Secret Daughter, and  I’m very happy with it. As promised, I will share it first with the people who subscribe to my blog — that’s you! But I’m being tricky , so first up I’m sharing it as an online  jigsaw puzzle.

This one isn’t as hard as the last one, which quite a few of you found too hard, so it’s  only 35 pieces.

But if you want to try one that’s a little bit harder here’s one with 70 pieces.  https://www.jigsawplanet.com/?rc=play&pid=3694bfea62bf

Hope you enjoy it. And if you do play, tell me what you think of the cover. It’s going up for pre-order at the end of the month, but won’t be out until December (I think — my publisher hasn’t given me an exact date yet.)

In the meantime, brace yourself for some upcoming posts about The Heiress’s Daughter (Clarissa and Race’s story) which is coming on 21st May.

Always love your puzzles, Anne – and your covers! This one is gorgeous, love seeing Bellaire Gardens in the snow! Impatiently waiting for The Heiress’s Daughter! Obviously, you induce too many “!!!!”s!

(Do you have an all-time favorite cover of one of your books? If forced to choose, mine would have to be The Accidental Wedding – it’s also one of my very favorites of your books!)

Thanks, Constance. Yes, I was keen to have snow in the background.
The cover of The Accidental Wedding is probably my favorite cover too — although I do have a soft spot for the original cover of The Perfect Rake — the one with the little shoes and other things on the cover. Mainly because it was my first single title cover.

Very pretty cover, Anne. Enjoy your retreat and catch up with writing friends. Mine is in September and I’m so looking forward to it.

Thanks so much, Liz. I’m sure you’d fit right in with my retreat buddies — in fact we were talking about your branching into mysteries while we were there. <g> And I would love to catch up with your retreat friends, a few of whom I’m sure I know — not that I would crash your party, of course. But alas, I can’t see myself making any long overseas trips again — 20 hours wedged into a seat is getting harder on my back these days.

What a beautiful cover Anne, and I can’t wait to read it, and I loved doing the jigsaw :)

Have Fun

Thanks, Helen — and thanks for playing. They’re fun, the jigsaws, aren’t they? I’ve been doing them for so long that I suspect that’s what started Debbie on the ARRA daily jigsaw. <g>
