A Cure for What Ails You
I came across this in my blog wanderings (aka procrastination) and thought you might enjoy it.
It’s from The Unwinding by the English artist and writer Jackie Morris
Isn’t it sweet? Do you take books with you wherever you go? Or do you have a special place to read?
I still prefer paper to my Kindle, but I generally carry the Kindle with me whenever I go anywhere except the grocery. There’s almost always a chance to read :)
Yes, Theo, the kindle makes it easy to carry a whole library with you, so you always have a choice of what to read and never run out.
That illustration (all of hers, but particularly that one) is just delightful
It’s lovely, isn’t it? Actually it reminded me a little of some of your own beautiful illustrations, Kathleen.
I have carried books and a kindle – not at the same time – but any chance I will have some time, I will carry an opportunity to read a book. And thanks for the idea of Blake Ashton getting a story.
Thanks, Annette. So many people wrote and asked about Blake, I had to write it. Marcus is another one, but he needs to be a longer story, and Im contractually prevented from self-publishing anything over 30,000 words.
What about a part one and part two? Or write it in installments?
I always have a book with me. I prefer print, but will read ebooks on my laptop. Can’t wait to read Ash’s story. Ready to pre-order!
Thanks, Binnie.
I always had a book with me, then my ebook reader. But now I no longer must fear to forget it. Reading on my phone is always an option.
I don’t like reading on my phone. I read too fast and so it’s a race to scroll and keep up. ;)
