Tallie's Knight Miss Thalia Robinson, a destitute orphan, was fortunate that cousin Laetitia allowed Tallie to look after her adorable three children. Life was bearable because Tallie lost herself in daydreams, but the arrival of a house party to aid Magnus, Earl of D'Arenville, to find a wife, turned her world upside-down. Magnus's cold facade
had been pierced by a delightful small girls, and he'd decided he wanted
children. For that, he needed a wife. But things didn't go according to
plan, for Magnus was so taken with Tallie's loving treatment of the children
in her charge he ignored the debutantes and decided she was the one he
would marry...

Blythe Barnhill said: "Tallie's Knight is the best Regency Romance I've read in years... ...Gracie's writing style is charming and wonderful and the love scenes are very sensual for a traditional Regency....Even if you're not the biggest Regency Romance fan, I suggest you make an exception for this one. Readers Comments Anne Gracie, is I think relatively unknown in the US, but she won't be for long! This novel is simply one of the best Regency romance novels I've read in a long time! 5 STARS (Tregatt. Top 500 Reviewer, Amazon.com.) *** I am currently reading
Tallie's Knight and I am enjoying it so much that I don't want to put
it down!! My poor children are being neglected today! When I started reading
this book I thought I knew how the story would unfold, but I have been
surprised every step of the way. I am charmed by and enchanted with the
characters. I just put your book Gallant Waif into my shopping cart at
Amazon. Do you have any other published books? I am in the US, so I'm
not sure if all of your work is available here. *** Have just read Tallie's
Knight, published here in Britain this month, and am writing to say how
much I enjoyed it. I loved Tallie as a character - so brave and vulnerable
- and enjoyed the humour of the book as well, especially poor Magnus'
bewilderment with his 'submissive' 'bride! ..... Good luck with the awards
for Gallant Waif which I read when it came out last year and also thoroughly
enjoyed - a keeper, not one to be passed on! ...... jay
